Starting with supplied NOW / CBS artwork, I carried its curves, blue-and-white palette and layered depth into show artwork, opening graphics and recurring elements.

The goal was a consistent visual language that could accommodate new stories and imagery.

I developed The Breakdown’s show design, graphic elements, over-the-shoulder treatments and reusable motion-graphics templates. The work connected the presenter’s visual environment with the graphics used to introduce and explain a story.

The package included a desk pullback treatment, animated OTS bars, image wipes and title animations. The presenter stays on the left while a framed OTS area carries the title and supporting imagery. The white map environment and blue Breakdown strip connect those changing elements within a consistent composition.

I built the OTS templates so the story-specific content could change within the segment’s visual treatment. The intro/outro template offers one-line, two-line and no-title layouts, with replaceable imagery and color controls. A separate wipe template handles image replacement.

I built reusable motion templates with editable titles and replaceable media. The cold-open sequence could change with the day’s stories while retaining its framing, rhythm and treatment.
